Who We Are
Founded in 1986, The House of Clocks owned by Paul Smith, has provided clock sales and service in the greater San Diego area. Specializing in antique clocks, grandfather clocks, tower clocks and public clocks. Restoration and maintenance of
some of San Diego’s most historic and popular clocks including Jessop’s clock (formerly in Horton Plaza), Barona Casino, Hotel Del Coronado, Morton’s restaurant Del Mar, many Rotarian street clocks and City of Chula Vista Street clock.
What We Do
The House of clocks provides new clock movements, hands, GPS control systems and Dials sized from 12” to 12’.
Restoration of existing tower/ street / public clock, or updated replacement of clock movements are available. Many existing movements can be updated with a GPS component that will self correct for time changes and power outages.
We also sell restored antique clocks. These include wall, mantel and Grandfather clocks.
Complete restoration of clocks includes movement restoration, dial restoration and case restoration.
